Associate Prof. Dr. Javed Rasul

Associate Prof. Dr.javed Rasul a highly accomplished ophthalmologist from Lakki Marwat, he completed his Matric (SSC) in 1997 from University Public School, Peshawar, and his FSc (1998–1999) from Islamia College, Peshawar. He earned his MBBS degree from Saidu Medical College in 2006, graduating with a Gold Medal, and later completed his FCPS in Ophthalmology from Khyber Teaching Hospital in 2013.
His expertise lies in advanced cataract and refractive surgeries, including Phacoemulsification, SICS, ECCE, and vision correction procedures such as PRK, Femto LASIK, and SMILE.

Following his specialization, he served as a Senior Phaco Surgeon and In-charge at Khyber Eye Foundation, Peshawar. He subsequently joined Pak International Medical College, Peshawar, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology, where he served for two years. He then worked as a District Specialist at DHQ Hospital Charsadda for nearly three years before rejoining Pak International Medical College, where he currently serves as an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology.His expertise includes advanced cataract and refractive surgeries, including Phacoemulsification, SICS, ECCE, and vision correction laser procedures such as PRK, Femto LASIK, and SMILE. He also has strong clinical experience in General Ophthalmology, Cataract Evaluation and Surgery, Glaucoma Diagnosis and Management, Diabetic Retinopathy Screening and Treatment, and Refractive Error Assessment.
